John 10:10

In this series, we are talking about living in and with an overflow. So where exactly does that overflow come from?

For starters, in order to get to the state of overflow, we said that we first had to get to the point of being full, right? That is when we can begin to have an overflow!

The verse above is Jesus speaking and he says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy…” Here he is talking about the devil and how all the enemy wants to do is take everything you have. You see, the enemy does not want you to live with an overflow!

But guess what?! Jesus continues by saying, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Jesus wants us to have life and to have a full and abundant life! Living in abundance is when we can pour out to others with the overflow!

It all starts with Jesus and having a personal relationship with him. He is the source of what we need and the way in which we can live abundantly.

So let me ask you, are you living with abundance through a relationship with Jesus? If not, is that because the relationship doesn’t exist or because the relationship is not a priority?
